Animal Services needs you!<\/h5>\n<p>Second Chance is nationally known for our Access to Care program that provides vital services to ensure all pets in need of veterinary care can get help, regardless of the financial status of the owner.<\/p>\n<p>We provide routine and sick exams, surgery, low cost spay\/neuter, dentals, vaccine clinics and more.\u00a0\u00a0All of these services require veterinarians.\u00a0\u00a0As a retired veterinarian, you have a wealth of experience and have dedicated your life to helping pets.\u00a0\u00a0Perhaps you miss the satisfaction of helping these pets, but you\u2019re not looking for the commitment of running a practice or maintaining a busy schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how our program works:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Tell us what you still like to do and how often you would want to do it.\u00a0\u00a0For example, maybe you\u2019re interested in vaccine clinics, and you only want to work one day a week.\u00a0\u00a0Do you need the summer off, go South in the winter, or have other plans that would take you away for periods of time?\u00a0\u00a0You can still help pets with Second Chance and keep that retirement schedule!<\/li>\n<li>Decide which one, or more, of our hospital locations you want to work at?\u00a0\u00a0For some things, like vaccine clinics, would you want to work on our mobile unit too?<\/li>\n<li>If you are interested in surgery, what types of surgeries do you have experience in that you would still like to do?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Once you have answered those questions, let\u2019s talk!\u00a0\u00a0We\u2019d love to tell you more
